Your handle
View as markdownA handle is the short name you, or a workspace, are known by — like a username elsewhere: it is how work is credited and how people mention and find you. Everyone has one from the start, suggested from the name you sign up with (or a new workspace’s name); you can change it at once in the workspace’s settings, and after that once a day. It is in no address, so changing it breaks no link. A handle is 3–30 lowercase letters, digits and inner hyphens. Some names are reserved: the platform’s own (23artifacts, 23made…), words that would sound like it speaking (support, billing, security, and anything built on them), and names the web itself uses (www, api). A name someone else holds is taken. A workspace’s handle is set by its owners and admins.
