Terms of Service

1. The service
23artifacts ("the service"), operated by 23made LLC, lets you publish web content ("artifacts") to hosted pages — each at its own address on 23a.so, and at a longer one under 23artifacts.app — and manage them from 23artifacts.com. By creating an account or publishing, you agree to these terms.
2. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you publish. You grant us the license needed to host, store, and serve it — that's all we do with it. You're responsible for what you publish: you must have the rights to it, and it must meet the acceptable-use rules in section 3. We may take down content or suspend accounts that violate them, and we may remove content in response to valid legal requests.
If you enable comments or shared state on an artifact, other people's writing lands on it. You decide who can view and contribute, and you can inspect, hide, wipe, or switch those features off at any time — but you're expected to moderate what accumulates on artifacts you publish, and the same rules above apply to it. We may remove viewer-contributed content, or disable these features on an artifact, on the same terms as anything else you publish.
To report an artifact — abuse, malware, or content you hold the rights to — use the report form or email abuse@23artifacts.com. Copyright notices go to dmca@23made.com.
3. Acceptable use
Don't use the service to publish or distribute: malware, phishing pages, or anything designed to harvest credentials or payment details; content that impersonates a person or organization, or fabricates records, receipts, or reviews presented as genuine; sexual content involving minors, or non-consensual intimate imagery; content that harasses, threatens, or incites violence against anyone; unlawful goods or services; or anything that infringes someone else's rights.
Don't use the service to attack it or anyone else: no probing or circumventing access controls or usage limits, no automated scraping of other people's artifacts, no using published pages as open redirects, proxies, or file drops for unrelated content, and no volumes of traffic or publishing that degrade the service for others. Don't resell hosting capacity as your own.
Regulated data stays off the service: no protected health information (PHI), payment card data, government identifiers, or similarly regulated personal data — we are not a HIPAA business associate, offer no BAAs, and the service is not PCI-compliant.
We may remove content, disable features on an artifact, or suspend accounts that break these rules, and we'll tell you why where practicable. Report violations to abuse@23artifacts.com.
4. Copyright and DMCA
If you believe content on the service infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent with: your physical or electronic signature; identification of the work you say is infringed; identification of the material you want removed and the URL where it appears; your address, telephone number, and email; a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

We remove or disable material in response to valid notices and terminate repeat infringers' accounts. If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same agent containing: your signature; identification of the removed material and where it appeared; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification; and your name, address, telephone number, and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address (or, if outside the United States, for any district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the complaining party. We may restore the material 10–14 business days after forwarding a valid counter-notice unless the complaining party notifies us it has filed an action. Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing, or was removed by mistake, carries liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
5. Accounts and organizations
Keep your credentials and publish tokens secret; you're responsible for activity under them. Organization owners and admins control their workspace — including its members, artifacts, and tokens. Deleting your account takes your personal artifacts offline immediately; they are permanently removed after a 30-day grace window.
6. Plans and limits
Free accounts have usage limits (artifact count, storage, rate limits). We may change limits with reasonable notice. Paid plans, when offered, are billed as described at purchase.
7. Availability and changes
The service is provided "as is" without warranties. We aim for high availability but don't guarantee it, and we may change or discontinue features. Keep copies of anything you can't afford to lose — artifacts are your content, and you should retain your own originals.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, 23made LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
9. Indemnity
You'll defend and indemnify 23made LLC against third-party claims, damages, and reasonable costs (including legal fees) arising from what you publish, how you use the service, or your breach of these terms — including claims that your content infringes someone's rights or that data you published shouldn't have been. We'll tell you promptly about any such claim, let you control the defense of it, and cooperate as you reasonably ask; you won't settle in a way that admits fault on our behalf or binds us to anything without our consent.
10. Termination
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable.
