# Share a private artifact

A **share link** lets someone in without being on the list: make one from an artifact’s Share list (**More ways in**), give it a name and a role, and send it. It counts its own opens — and can email you when someone opens it — and **Share links** in the sidebar lists every link the workspace has made, so you can see which were opened. Its menu also copies an **embed** address, for placing the artifact inside another page as an `iframe`. Revoking a link stops the link and its embed at once.
