# Publishing markdown

Ask for a page. Your assistant can turn notes, a README or any markdown into a web page and publish that — something people open, read and comment on like anything else here. A markdown file published as it is, with no page around it, reaches a browser as a file to download rather than a page to read, and takes no comments.
