# Ask for comments

Anyone with the **Commenter** role — or a share link that gives it — can comment on the page itself: open the corner crate and choose **Comment**, and a bar appears whose comment tool (**C**) pins a comment where you click or draws where you drag, and whose **Record** (**R**) takes your voice while you point and draw. Each comment stays with the version it was left on, and a thread takes replies, `@` to name someone, and **Resolve**. People see their own comments and the replies to them; you see everyone’s, by version, in the artifact’s **Collaborate** section, with a summary on demand and **Invite an agent** to have an assistant answer them. New ones reach your **inbox** — the bell — and your email, as your notification settings say. **Take comments on this artifact**, in its settings, turns them off and keeps every one already left.
