# Retired names

Some of the connector's tools were renamed and regrouped in its third version. A call by one of the old names is refused as an unknown tool, and the refusal names the tool that took its job, says how, and says to reconnect so the assistant lists today's tools. This page is drawn from the same table the refusal reads, so an old prompt, script or note can be read in today's words.

- `await_comment_activity` → `await_activity`: await_activity { artifact, since } waits past a head.
- `create_deck` → `save_artifact`: save_artifact { name, kind: "deck", document } makes a deck.
- `delete_theme` → `delete_artifact`: a theme is an artifact: delete_artifact { artifact } deletes it.
- `get_deck` → `get_artifact_files`: get_artifact_files { artifact, version: "draft" } reads a deck's document and its revision.
- `get_theme` → `get_artifact`: a theme is an artifact of kind theme: get_artifact { artifact } shows it, get_artifact_files reads its document.
- `list_assets` → `list_artifacts`: list_artifacts { q: "in:library" } finds material, `kind:image` narrowing it.
- `list_inbox` → `get_inbox`: get_inbox takes the same state, q, limit and cursor.
- `list_recordings` → `list_comments`: list_comments { artifact, q: "kind:recording" } lists the recordings.
- `list_themes` → `list_artifacts`: list_artifacts { q: "kind:theme" } finds themes.
- `list_work_items` → `list_comments`: list_comments { artifact, q: "kind:work" } lists the work items and who holds each.
- `open_agent_session` → none: an agent is present while it waits (await_activity) or holds work (create_work_item); there is nothing to open.
- `post_comment` → `add_comment`: add_comment with `agent: null` writes as the person.
- `publish_artifact` → `save_artifact`: save_artifact { name, files } makes a new artifact; { artifact, files } saves a new version.
- `save_theme` → `save_artifact`: save_artifact { name, kind: "theme", document } saves a theme.
- `set_live_version` → `set_artifact_state`: set_artifact_state { artifact, state: "live", version } makes a version live.
- `show_artifact` → `get_artifact`: get_artifact { artifact } shows it, with its preview image.
- `stage_upload` → `upload_file`: upload_file takes the same start, part, complete and offer.
- `update_artifact` → `update_artifact_settings`: update_artifact_settings changes settings; restoring a deleted artifact is set_artifact_state.
- `update_asset` → `update_artifact_settings`: update_artifact_settings { artifacts, addTags, description } changes material's tags and description; delete_artifact deletes it.
- `update_deck` → `save_artifact`: save_artifact { artifact, base: "draft", patch } changes a deck; `as` says live, staged or draft.
- `upload_asset` → `save_artifact`: save_artifact { name, kind: "image", files } saves material into the library.

There is one connector and one request-based interface live at a time, so the documentation keeps one version; this page carries what changed until two are live at once.
